The constant crashes on survival were fixed, but the trade off seems to be unbearable performance issues in menus in survival. I’m talking slo-mo without a reaction enhancer. In addition, were editor controls changed? the usual keys no longer perform the expected action

Well, the old survival advocates got their way in the end. And by that I mean two updates later. I’m just glad for the update. Keep up the good work guys!

Yay! More updates! I am so glad how fast updates come! Not shure what you meant by
“» Fixed not being able to change teams after going to menu from ingame”, but still, yay!
(I still wish we had the old team pick GUI for deathmach and other stuff.)
Thanks,

Thanks for the update! You guys do a great job. Is there a way we could opt back into the classic bullet time? I understand why the new one is cool, but some maps just get too frenetic. It’s impossible to play a match at secret hideout without gratuitous instakills happening all the time. I’m more of a casual gamer, and the old style had a lot of appeal to me as it was more about understanding the mechanics of the game and being able to maneuver once bullet time kicked in, than it was trying to knock off people as close as possible.

I’ve tried liking this new bullet time but I just can’t. The thing I liked about the old one was that you got to see deaths in slow-motion and pulling off cool moves. That’s pretty much gone now with most of the weapons there’s barely any slow down which also makes it hard to dodge. Thought the point of it was so it’s easier to react to the bullets? Hence why it’s called “Reaction enhancer”. I can say that new system works good with Team-Strike and you can tell it’s designed to work better with that mode, but it seems like you haven’t considered the other game modes to work with this as much.
Maybe it was how I played the game, but right now it feels more like playing with bullet time off which makes the game a lot more boring actually. So boring for me that I don’t really feel like playing the game anymore. That’s sad, because I really like(d) this game and could proudly say it was one of my favourite games. Not sure anymore…
