Daisymoon games are developed in Lua, and to write and modify Lua you will need a good text editor. Notepad will work, of course, but it's not in the "good" category. Here are some better ones you can check out:

• Notepad++ - Free open-source editor (Recommended)
• Textpad - Shareware, £16.50
• Slickedit - Full-fledged IDE, $299.0
• Ultraedit - Full-fledged IDE, $49.95

Audio Editors

• sfxr - Free open-source 8-bit sound generator
• Audacity - Free open-source sound editor
• The Free Sound Project - An excellent site for finding source samples

Graphics Editors

• GIMP - Free cross-platform editor
• Adobe Photoshop - Very expensive but popular editor
