Text Editors
Daisymoon games are developed in Lua, and to write and modify Lua you will need a good text editor. Notepad will work, of course, but it's not in the "good" category. Here are some better ones you can check out:
- Notepad++ - Free open-source editor (Recommended)
- Textpad - Shareware, £16.50
- Slickedit - Full-fledged IDE, $299.0
- Ultraedit - Full-fledged IDE, $49.95
Audio Editors
- sfxr - Free open-source 8-bit sound generator
- Audacity - Free open-source sound editor
- The Free Sound Project - An excellent site for finding source samples
Graphics Editors
- GIMP - Free cross-platform editor
- Adobe Photoshop - Very expensive but popular editor
